8v shorty header
hi guys, this is a project I started a while back and the handrail welder at work came through with the finish welding and offered to make more.

Is there any interest in a header like this? Ill try and get out and get a picture on the car, but it was fit around a 240 so a 7/9 will be no problem, and it fits my 58mm Precision 5862 turbo with an .82 housing.

It actually mounts the header down, but Im going to see on the next one if I can do it up and have the turbo fit.

Cool, what kind of price are you thinking?

I'm still in for the full length, but this could be a good option for more power over the 90+.

With the hours into it, and the cost of the stainless material, I'm thinking in the 350 range plus shipping.

Ill get a pic up with the turbo installed this weekend, mockup shows it clears the oil filter and altermator on the 240.

Might be interested down the road, as funds allow, since that might be easier to get thru smog than a full-length. Is that going to need some form of bracing though? Seems like it plants the turbo way out from the head, putting a bit of leverage on things.

The turbo does scroll back towards the motor, and there is some straps on the flange like I do with all mine, but as always, turbos are heavy and I recomend some sort of support back to the block. I won't warranty cracking without it.

+1 exactly on all points.

I'd probably be down to help test on 7/9x if the time is right, let me know!
