7/9 clear front corners?
Yeah I know, this isn't "performance" but you have Lighting listed in the forum description. Move this thread to wherever if this isn't the right forum. Tongue

Okay, long story short; US-spec clear front corner lamps used to be available just about everywhere and for quite some time IIRC. FCP, EST, SAM, even the usual suspects on eBay carried them. Now I can't find them anywhere. Clear e-code corners, no problemo. USDM clear corners, no such luck. WTF? Anyone have any leads on any?

Yeah, I know right? Facepalm It's my inner ricer, I'll admit it. I just don't care for the amber reflector in my front corner lamps. It's not as easy as yanking it from the 240 corner lamps (and frankly that looks like shit when it's done that way IMO).

So I emailed autolampsplus, my eBay connection for repop lighting, and asked them what the deal was and if these were still available. Their response was quite simply "I don't carry them anymore". Gee thanks.

The hunt continues.

You might be SOL as far as finding it in the US. You might have to try euro parts places as euro peeps are crazy about the DOT lights.

I tried a couple of Swedish websites (SAM, KL) already with no luck. I'll try the German and UK eBays next.

OK found them, these are for a 940 w/fogs. There is no manufacturer on these so I guess that are generics. No cracks that I can see. Here are some pics. All mounting tabs are unbroken.

If you want them you can have them for $50 + shipping.

I always assumed those were ones where the cheap yellow they used had faded out

Maybe I'm senile, but isn't the orange a plastic bit you can take out?
:facepalm:Read OP, maybe I'm remembering a 240.

Nope, these were all clear from the beginning, no yellow.

Yes, 240 turn signals can be made all clear by removing the yellow reflector. Don't think you can do that with the 7/9 signals.

I checked, both the Skandix USA and Skandix German websites, no luck on those corner lamps.

So I just looked at one of my old shattered lenses.
the colored part is a separate bit that falls right out if you divorce the lens from the reflector. It is glued, so that wold be a battle, but maybe not hard if you strat with 2 sets.

It still looks like dogshit when you yank the reflector out of the housing like that. BTDT.

Still looking for a source for these things folks!
