compared to sealedbeams it's like driving around in the daytime. and that is with the 55A alt and ordinary wattage bulbs, no Hideously Intense Dazzlers...yet!

i wish Poormona Raceway would do Street Legal, it's half the distance (compared to Fontana) from my house and a full 1/4mile.

car still also needs the alternator swap, sending unit implant, suspension bushings, brakes... need to get rest of my shit together (moar brake and suspension parts). i'm trying to get the 780 squared away first, though.

there's talk of a 2014 street legal season /fingertwirl yaaaay

new brakes in, bleed sequence initiated. combo of triple hose 4-step vs. 8-step, usually with ~2l of fluid through it.

let the bleed sequence flame wars commence

chicken cluckin' about town, crosses the road nicely.

current calamity = no brake lights, red BFR can is suspected. Q: is a red BFR can on hand from 780 bag of relays interchangeable? don't want to make smoke except at tires

lulz, black BFR is black. rumour has it the black BFR is for cars with no 3rd brake light and the red one is for cars With a third brake light. interchangeable EXCEPT that it will throw a false Bulb Fail indication on the panel if you don't have the right one. i just got a black canister or Brakelight Fluid in last night, still looking for trouble in the circuits... fuse good, bulbs good, tails work etc.

Guess I never realized the Chicken was quite that vicious... nice.

So I wonder if the green BFR is just for RHD units... Icon_scratch

No haz... Only other think I can think of, might be a JDM thing? because, there's only one rear fog light (on the right side), they were worried about 'em resembling brake lights if there were two or some such nonsense... Dunno if all RHD are like that or not.

it's a little bit worse than it looks there, perhaps the photo angle negates how deep the panel is actually punched or that they also hit the wheel and probably fucked up my freshly renewed steering rack et al. my brothers are otherwise engaged so once again i'm being thrown to the fucking wolves and it might as well be tboned for all the body skill i have.
