240 to 140 front end
Just curious if anyone has done this, or has looked in to this. What would be the major issues?

RE: 240 to 140 front end
240 has longer wheelbase, so fenders would have to be lengthened to provide the proper positioning of the wheel arches. You also run into issues with the frame horns, if you're thinking of running early 140 bumpers on the car. Personally, I'd just find a nice 140 shell and swap the guts of a 240 over. Yeah, you'll have to still do modifications if you want strut suspension in the front and a steering rack, but there should be less welding involved than trying to get a 240 to look like a '67-'72 140. Emphasis on "should", of course.

You can also consider a late model 140 like a 73 or especially a 74. With the exception of the suspension and dash. A late 140 like a 74 is basically a 240 with a 140 front end on it.

1982 242 turbo. MVP coilover front and rear suspension. Bilstein HD. IPD 25/25 bars. 3" MVP exhaust. Cosworth Sierra hot side T3 .48 with upgraded stock .42 compressor. Ported 90+.True Track diff. Flat hood, 1979 front grill, 2 screw Hella Ecode park/turn lights with H4 Hella headlights. 321k miles.

1993 Classic Edition wagon 5spd 341k miles.
