Well, that 16 valve head ought to make up for the B21F manifold.

Love the twin-scroll J-pipe.
Keep up the good work!

Somebody decided that only pussies run valve reliefs. Look who is back to an 8V head...

Some one decide to put the wrong valves in the cylinder head actually read the thread. I have a mint 16v head and everything to slap it on but I'd rather either sell it all or finish the shortblock

No some idiot put shitty trw valves in it with a higher stem height past the spring retainer so the valves hung open and got clobbered

Okay big update car runs need to finish the exhaust system on it but I hit it hard today, I have to say its nice having a low hanging turbo the spark plugs are right there and it's nice having it away from tw timing belt too

RE: 1988 B230ft Daily Driver/ Race Machine!
Holy hellll it's been way to long since I updated you guys, so I swaped in a freshly rebuilt b21ft shortblock into the car along with a stage 4 unitek 531head and cam, it has the nicest RSI valve spring and retainer kit you can get so I should be able to spin it up pretty decently, it got 52mm intake valves and 42mm exhaust valves, you can not fit any bigger valves in the 8v head haha, major bowl an port work and after cc'ing the head I realized the compression is hovering around 7:1 so perfect for boost and naws Tongue haven't had alot of time to mess with the car since the swap but I did fab up another b21f efi intake and this time fitted it with a 850n/a throttle body, I'm still running the 55lb injectors which are gonna max out really quick I believe, got the startup and idle dialed in OK but it's far from perfect, here's some updated pics for you guys and I will further update the build when I get home
