Lets get this started. Raffle for 8v/16v intake or header
Hi guys. Lets get this going, time is ticking away.

Raffle will be for either an 8v intake, 8v header, 16v intake, or 16v header for the 240, 7/9 series cars. You know what Im talking about, my standard build stuff. If Im doing a header, I do like to have the turbo in hand to build around. Im sure some customs stuff can be done, and we can work that out later. But this is for one of the listed above, end member chooses.

So whats the raffle for? We have a chance to buy back the Challenger our team built on Car Warriors and we have just under 30 days to get the funds together. Our team leader is holding a raffle of his own for custom painted fridges and other swag type stuff, you can see him on facebook under Billy Bob Customs. I wanted to do my part and reach out to the 20,000 people my other team mates dont know and try to generate some money this way.

Ive talked to a couple people and this is how the raffle will work. Each ticket will be 50.00. Looking at a minumum of 20 people to buy in (this is so Im not building an intake for 300 dollars!) If we're close at the end, Ill leave it to my discretion to approve the number of people required.

If there is not enough buy-ins, Ill refund the money to each member. (so Im thinking a gift through PP would be best for this, then i can gift it right back, other wise theres fees involved, unless someone else knows a better way)

Now, if there is enough buy-ins, but we dont get enough money to buy the car back, heres my plan. I still hold up my end and raffle off a winner, and with the money, Ill post up a few larger pcs of equipment that Im looking at, and let the raffling members have a vote and decide what gets bought. Im talking things like a larger lathe, air compressor, vinyl cutter, additon to my cnc plasma cutter. We can decide on that later, Im really hoping we get to buy the car backFingersx, but want to be prepared for everything.

So whats the best way to do this? PP, money order or some other method. Once I get the money Ill start a list showing paid members.

As post earlier, this update is for the pp address. Gift it and leave your screen name to natedogg @ techline . Com

And the off chance we don't win the car, we can take the proceeds and donate them to the locally charity that Billy Bob chooses if that time comes. I can leave that to voting mem.bers

so what's the time frame on this? I.e. last day you'll take entrants. I'm guessing if you've got just under 30 days to get the car back, then ~20 days on the raffle?

I knew I would forget something. July 8th we need to pay the balance off. So tentavly, let's make it July 2nd for the cutoff. Ill talk with chris more about how the funding works, ands mayne able to just forward the PP balance to the car, inwhich case we can do July 6th.

Ill edit the first post, and give PP info when I get home tonight.

Ill ninja edit the first post when I get home.

Looks like the money can be tranfered right to billybobs PP account at raffle end and he can take care of the final payment. Were still not sure if we can pay the dealer directly, so right now, let's do the July 2nd raffle end date.

Ill video tape the drawing and get my almost 3 year old daughter to draw the name.

And talkking with Chris, if we come short of the end goal, he is donating the money to a local charity, so that will be an option for members to choose as well.

My PP is natedogg at techline dot com.

Thanks guys for all your support, and check out Billy Bob Customs on facebook for his raffle on the fridges, and other donated items.

I'm in. Don't even have my motor swap figured out, but I have a tendency to leap before I look. Good luck to all.
And I think I forgot to sign my name to the money. It came from my CFO amie at ncbimissoula dot org account. Sorry.
