Shocked The Tan Catamaran
This is the story of a boy and his volvo...
The story starts in January 2009... i bought this is a tan 85 244DL that i bought for $250
[Image: 4323674740_5abb1aaca0.jpg]

Specs:
B230 M46
Tan on Brown
The car had new brakes within the last 10,000 miles, new clutch within the last 15,000
A new cat within the last two years
new cap and rotor, new spark plugs, and a "new" oxygen sensor
recent tires, and a newer transmission mount

it wouldnt pass smog when i bought it...
me and alden repaired the wiring harness, and swapped coolant sensors, and changed the timing belt and it still wouldnt pass smog...

so we swapped in a used o2 sensor, and it waah-laaa..... good to go...

i try to drive the car as much as i can...
ive done some autox and ive driven it on some roadtrips...

I'm in the same boat, and my hood was originally white so chips are super hi-vis.

this one was originally yellow... so the chips show... but my paint prep was not great, and my cheapo paint is starting to fade and its just not looking good...

paint party time?

i understand the concept of " CarpetFibur™ " but it needs good prep, and decent paint to start with

Is that some kinda fabric that you glue on ?

A have a friend that does water transfer, amazing stuff !

Dollar bills or imitated wood instrument panels, carbon on mirrors or valve covers, there are lots of different patterns, and it will adhere to everything solid.

RE: The Tan Catamaran
it is a anti skid mat used for lining shelves and tool boxes

you can also use it as a paint stencil to spray a carbonesque finish, a faux finish/tromp l'eil effect

A lathe and welder can fix that, its even doable wo a welder, you just need some means of fixing and aligning the parted rims.
