so completely ditch the stock swaybar? I have reinforced arms.
And I just put the front shocks on so I'll have to make do for now, but I was surprised that they weren't as harsh as I thought they would be.

Yea ditch the rear bar. And the Konis are quite supple.

Forward stability is good and under braking is stable and linear. Dive is negligible. On turn in the rear feels a little squirlly. On steady power turn the front wants to push and bounces a little on smooth road but quite significant bump steer on any rough parts. On power out massive understeer. Trans- AW71, accumulator mod.

Purpose/Use of car- Work car, every day

Front suspension- It do have, mostly OEM
Front Struts- Bilstein HD
Front Spring Type (brand/drop-in or coil-over)- IPD blue "sport spring"
Front Spring Rate- guessing ~ 175 lb/in
Ride Height (inches raised/lowered)- minus 1.75 inch per IPD

Bushing Type- Super pro Poly
Steering Rack Type (power/manual/quick steer)- Japan KOYO from a 94, stock

Ride Height (inches raised/lowered)- minus 1.5 inch per IPD
Rear Sway Bar- 19mm 9 series wagon bar

Panhard Rod (or Watts Link)- IPD adjustable Panhard, axle centered dead nuts

ALIGNMENT SPECS-
Camber- Negative, ~ -1*, not measured yet
Caster- OEM Volvo to spec, no "caster mod" yet
Toe- -1mm toe IN

IMPRESSIONS- Fun! Turns in quick, suspension is as firm as my old butt would desire for a work car. She hangs well in cornering situations, minimal body roll. The Bils HD are "almost" too stiff for me (again, I'm old) but fine on smooth pavement. When I installed the 17" Propus wheels/Nitto tires, I definitely gained some cornering grip and lots of style points for an old Gpa Brick.....however you will lose a bit of accel. ability when you put those bigger inch flywheels on the car (compared to the old 16" Hydra rims....lower inertia to accelerate). Got to be careful on big bumps/RR crossings to avoid the rear Nittos rubbing the lips. No regrets....MUCH more fun that a stocker 9 series suspension.

FUTURE PLANS- I've got a complete 91 7 series LSD rearend with 3.31 gear set waiting for me, tone ring ready for LH2.4 & the speedo drive. Next to that is a Kaplhenke rear subframe with adjustable torque rods (heim joint ends) and SuperPro poly bushings. Hopefully this coming winter I will get the rearend prepped and install the package. The 3.31 will make the AW71 a bit taller in the lower gears, but long term plan is a Getrag retrofit....need more pieces to pull that one off.

For your rear I would I would go with the stock size sway bar, drop the spring rate to about 250 to match the 400 front and go from there.

I know the meaning of life.

the rear is stiff, 250 sounds like a pretty accurate ballpark (the current springs worked well for when i needed to drive with an engine in the trunk)
